The Life-Changing Tale: The Mouse Trap
Once, a mouse saw a trap set in the middle of a farmer's house. Seeing it, the mouse panicked, thinking danger had arrived. It sought help from the chicken, the pig, and the cow, but none offered assistance because they thought it wasn't their concern.
Eventually, one dark night, the trap caught a snake. The farmer's wife, assuming it was the mouse, went to check, and the snake bit her. Her husband, upon seeing this, rushed to help and took her to the hospital. Unfortunately, it was too late as the venom had reached her heart.
The doctor suggested feeding the wife a chicken soup in hopes that it might help. When the husband returned home, he slaughtered a chicken to make the soup. While the wife was sick, villagers came to visit, and in gratitude, the husband slaughtered a pig to welcome them.
Shortly after, the wife passed away. A funeral was organized, and many came to assist. In their aid, the husband slaughtered a cow to feed those helping. Throughout these events, all were observed by the little mouse.
This tale teaches us that some things we think might not directly affect us can still have indirect and profound consequences. For instance, in the past COVID-19 crisis, even if we weren't directly involved in businesses affected, it had implications on our economy and healthcare when seeking medical treatment due to a lack of sufficient healthcare professionals. Therefore, today, if there is anything within our capacity to help each other, whether in knowledge or abilities we possess, we should step forward to assist and share together, enabling us to overcome these crises collectively.
