Techniques for answering questions
It's normal that when we present products or businesses to someone new, they will have questions and doubts. It's just like us in the beginning when we had nothing but questions and full of doubts. Our job is to clear those questions and make them understand clearly. To do that, we need to adhere to these two principles:
- Make sure we understand the person asking first, understand what they don't grasp.
- Understand their questions, attentively listen to what they are asking, and then respond. No need to rush, answer directly to the point, and clarify.
Most of the questions we encounter are repetitive, regardless of the person's educational background. Our task is to study, learn, and develop. Initially, we might answer their questions only 50%, but if we review and learn from what they ask, the next time we encounter similar questions, our answers will improve gradually until reaching 100%.
The key lies in how much we practice. If we cannot answer a question or respond smoothly, it indicates that our information is not sufficient. Importantly, it reveals that we don't truly understand the subject.
