Life Changing Tale: Angel and Beggar.
Once, in a town, there was a beggar who diligently went out to work for himself every day. Despite the many beggars in the city, he never despaired. Until one day, the town's guardian angel, recognizing his diligence, decided to offer help. The angel transformed and appeared before the beggar, promising to give him 10,000 baht, asking what he would do with the money.
The beggar replied, "I'll buy a phone to call my friends and ask where the best spots for begging are, so I can join them there."
The angel inquired further, "And if I were to give you 100,000 baht, what would you do?"
The beggar responded, "I'd buy a motorcycle to travel farther and beg in places where I can earn more."
The angel persisted, "What if I were to give you 10,000,000 baht, what then?"
The beggar answered, "I would distribute it to my fellow beggars."
The angel asked, "Why would you do that?"
The beggar explained, "So that these people can leave this town. Then I would be the only beggar here."
Upon hearing this, the angel realized that this beggar was genuinely destined to beg, despite having the opportunity to improve his life. Yet, he only thought of continuing to beg.
This tale teaches us that sometimes, impoverished individuals lack not opportunities or time but rather the poverty lies in their thinking. Even with opportunities presented to them, they refuse to change. Consequently, they are unable to uplift themselves to prosperity.
